Log Cabin UK is a log construction company based in rural west Wales and has a background in all aspects of the forest and timber industry. We have gained valuable experience by working on projects in Finland and undertaking various European placements enabling us to translate their traditional skills back into the UK, making the best use of our versatile and sustainable timber resource.

We pride ourselves on being one of a handful of companies in the UK employing the craftsmen with the skills to take a whole log, shape and joint it, to create a hand-built, tailor-made log cabin.
Matthew Young & Ian Lawton both received degrees from University of Wales, Aberystwyth in Earth Sciences & Countryside Management.
With experience in Forest Contracting, Forest Management & Chain Saw instruction, the team is able to advise on planning, development & regulations.
