Esgair Forest Sawmill, Machynlleth

In mid August we shall start work on the construction of a 1000 sqm sawmill in Esgair Forest near Machynlleth.

This is a diversion from our normal construction as this will be completely post and beam with our own Belfast Trusses that will span a 20m width. All of the timber used in the project has already been felled from the clients own forest and is currently being milled ready for use.

The sawmill is part of a project for Esgair Timber that will provide a facility for the client to add value to his own timber whilst recovering energy from the waste via a combined heat and power plant that will power the machinery and heat the kilns making the enterprise virtually self sustaining.
