Finnish Log House, Chester
This is the first log house to be imported into the UK from our Finnish partners.
It is a machine profiled log dwelling with a floor area of approximately 84m2, comprising of one large kitchen-diner living room, a large double bedroom and ensuite bathroom.
This building is constructed using 202mm thick square profiled log which has been glue laminated for enhanced stability. It has triple glazed doors and windows and 28mm thick floor boards.
Log Cabin UK has partnered with our local building authority, and we are working with them to obtain building regulations approval for this structure.
Timescale
From the time of placing the order and deposit, it took six weeks for the cabin to be machined and a further week for delivery on site. Once on site, this building took six weeks for the erection ofthe complete structure.
